Denmark SIM Card Reviews by Phone Travel Wiz

If you hate choices, then Denmark is amazing for you.

The number of prepaid options had gone down drastically from when I moved to Denmark (2016) to when I graduated and moved out (2020).

Now, travelers can only choose from Lebara Denmark and Lycamobile Denmark.

Yes – the mobile network operators (TDC/YouSee, Telia Denmark, Tele2 Denmark & 3 Denmark) do not have prepaid services anymore, so there is no point in visiting their stores.

You may have used Lebara or Lycamobile in the past before.

And those experiences may have been terrible.

But I can tell you that you will have a better experience in Denmark.

Not only are the data allowances generous, but your speeds are not throttled like crazy (like in the Netherlands).

Anyway, I tried out Lebara Denmark and Lycamobile Denmark in 2020 for the last time.

The thing is… I wrote those reviews a few months after starting Phone Travel Wiz.

And they are bad 💀.

I will not be in Denmark until at least 2023, so I will not update the reviews until then.

For up-to-date information about Danish SIM cards, read my Denmark SIM card buying guide.

But if you really want to know what I thought of both MVNOs back then, you can read them here (Lebara Denmark & Lycamobile Denmark).

Worry not; the updated reviews will be much better once I get to them 😉.
