Heading to Singapore and are in need of a Singaporean SIM card, or are you living in Singapore and are looking for a new operator? Singtel may be for you! Let's find out why in today's video.
Singapore has 3 telecom providers: Singtel, StarHub, and M1. All of these operators have good coverage throughout the country because Singapore is not that large.
Singtel is the largest operator with more than 4 million subscribers. In contrast, both StarHub and M1 have a little more than 2 million subscribers each.
For most travelers, the hi!Tourist SIM card may be interesting because you will get 100 GB of data for ONLY 12 SGD (8.50 USD/7.80 EUR/6.80 GBP, 13.15 AUD/15 NZD), which is insanely cheap! However, the validity of the tourist SIM card ranges from 7 days up to 15 days.
For those who are not interested in the hi!Tourist SIM card because you want a SIM card that has a longer validity or because you are not a tourist, then the hi!Card is for you.
Singtel offers a lot of attractive data plans for their hi! prepaid SIM card, making them an operator to consider.
In this video, I will tell you more about Singtel and show you a speed test I did while in Singapore. The result may surprise you.
