Vodafone Australia Video Review: The Best Budget SIM Card in Australia?

5.0 rating

Are you staying in Australia for a while and want to get a SIM card with a company you are familiar with? Then Vodafone Australia may be for you. Are they any good? We will find out today.

Note that this video primarily focuses on operator speed, while the Vodafone article takes multiple factors into consideration.

Vodafone is the smallest operator in Australia with around 6 million customers. They merged with 3 Australia many years ago and became Vodafone Hutchison Australia, although they go by the name Vodafone (Australia).

Vodafone has had a bad reputation in the best (and they still do somewhat) for having bad speeds, bad coverage, and awful customer service. Is that still the case today? Did they become better, or are they still “Vodafail”? We will have to find out.

When I was in Australia, I tried around 15 different prepaid SIM cards. I tried the main operators, which are Optus, Telstra, and, of course, Vodafone. But I also tried various MVNOs, such as Amaysim, ALDImobile, and Belong.

In this video, I will tell you more about Vodafone and show you a speed test I did while I was in Australia. The result may surprise you.
