It used to be an EE UK MVNO until September 2021. ASDA Mobile started moving to the Vodafone UK network in early 2021.

Coverage – ASDA Mobile
ASDA Mobile is a Vodafone UK MVNO, meaning ASDA Mobile uses the Vodafone UK network and does not have its own mobile infrastructure.

ASDA Mobile customers have access to Vodafone UK's 5G NR network.

You can buy an ASDA Mobile SIM card for 0.50 GBP in ASDA stores.

You can consider getting a travel eSIM for United Kingdom, which can, in specific scenarios, be cheaper than getting a SIM card from ASDA Mobile.
Especially if you get a Europe-wide eSIM (for when you visit at least two or more supported European countries) or a global eSIM (for frequent travelers visiting multiple continents).

Top-Up, Recharge & Balance Check – ASDA Mobile
ASDA Mobile top-up vouchers are sold in ASDA stores and many other establishments, including electronic shops, kiosks & gas stations throughout the United Kingdom.
To top up your ASDA Mobile SIM card, call 2732 and follow the instructions.
You can also recharge online with debit and credit cards. However, only UK-issued cards are accepted.
ASDA Mobile top-ups have no expiry as long as your SIM card is active.
Text BAL to 2732 or call 2732 and select option 1 to check your ASDA Mobile balance.
Soon, you can also top up and check your balance on the ASDA Mobile app, but it has yet to be released.

ASDA Mobile has three data-featured prepaid plans:
- Standard Bundles (combo)
- Unlimited Data (as the name implies)
- Data Add-Ons (as the name suggests)
Some ASDA Mobile plans are eligible for 5G NR.

With ASDA Mobile, unlimited data means truly unlimited WITHOUT fair-use limits. However, speed restrictions apply, as seen in the table above.

The Data Add-ons are, as the name implies, data add-ons (with 5G NR access) as they are add-ons to the 5G-enabled plans).

Note: do not use “everywhere” as an APN anymore. That was the old APN before ASDA Mobile moved from EE UK to Vodafone UK. Leave anything not mentioned above untouched.
