Yorn Portugal Prepaid Plans Explored (2025)

Yorn Portugal, just Yorn, is a youth sub-brand by Vodafone Portugal.

This means that you cannot be older than 25 years old to activate these SIM cards.

So if you are older than 26 years, aka a fossil (😜), you can choose any other SIM card on this guide (including Moche, a MEO Portugal youth sub-brand, if you stay in Portugal for fewer than 14 days, but not WTF, a NOS Portugal youth sub-brand).

Coverage – Yorn Portugal

Yorn is a NOS Portugal youth sub-brand, meaning Yorn uses the Vodafone Portugal network and does not have its own mobile infrastructure.

SIM Card Price – Yorn Portugal

You can get a Yorn SIM card for 9.90 EUR with 10 GB of data and 5000 local/EU minutes/SMS for 1 month in Vodafone stores (yes, really) and from resellers, including grocery stores, gas stations & electronic shops.

Yorn has no eSIMs.

You can consider getting a travel eSIM for Portugal, which can, in specific scenarios, be cheaper than getting a SIM card from Yorn.

Especially if you get a Europe-wide eSIM (for when you visit at least two or more supported European countries) or a global eSIM (for frequent travelers visiting multiple continents).
