Some countries in Southern Europe have extremely low mobile data rates.
And the same can be said for Spain.
It is possible to get a data-featured plan for 20 EUR giving you 75 GB of data.
Amazing, right? Sure, not as cheap as Italy, but it is still fantastic.
You can choose from four SIM cards: Movistar Spain, Orange Spain, Vodafone Spain & Yoigo.
Well, you have mainy Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) in Spain, but they are honestly not worth your time.
Maybe Lycamobile Spain is… but I would still not even bother with it.
In March 2022, I did a big tour around Europe, where I (re-)tested SIM cards of the big players in 13/14 countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy (+Vatican City), Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia & Spain.
I stuck with Movistar Spain, Orange Spain, Vodafone Spain & Yoigo in Spain.
There are clear winners in Spain. One has the best 4G/LTE coverage. One has the fastest 4G/LTE speeds. Another has the fastest 5G NR speeds, while another is the cheapest.
Honestly, my experience with the four Spanish SIM cards I tested was pleasant.
